The insurance marketplace for commercial real estate has been evolving as recent catastrophes have caused losses upon providers. Property owners have experienced some of the largest rate increases in the past 20 years while contending with coverage limitations and capacity concerns. Lenders need a trusted advisor who understands this real-time evolution in order to protect their interests. RHR Consulting’s proximity to an independent insurance brokerage, Round Hill Risk Partners, provides this insight. RHR works with lenders to evaluate a borrower’s existing insurance coverages and limits. Our analysis incorporates industry standards, rating agency requirements, and GSE guidelines as appropriate. If necessary, we will work with our lenders to broaden a borrower’s coverages or limits prior to loan closing. Further, lenders will be provided with a comprehensive insurance assessment report and supporting documentation for their files.
Securitization Experience
Robert Readlinger is the President and co-founder of RHR Consulting, LLC. He has over 26 years of Wall Street experience, including 20 years within securitized products distribution. In 2014, Mr. Readlinger was elevated to the Global Head of Securitized Products Distribution at Barclays. In addition, two of the consultant’s relationship managers come with extensive securitization experience. Timothy Burke joined RHR with over 35 years of Wall Street experience which were all spent in securitized products distribution at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. David McNamara joined RHR with over 30 years of experience, including 24 years dedicated to commercial mortgage securitization. Mr. McNamara served at the Co-Head of CMBS at UBS.

Scott Readlinger co-founded RHR Consulting with over 20 years of experience providing consulting and brokerage services within the insurance industry. In addition to RHR Consulting, Scott founded an independent insurance brokerage, Round Hill Risk Partners, LLC in 2019. Scott leads a team of insurance professionals providing risk management solutions to clients across all segments of the real estate and construction industry.
